Biochar for Animals
Biochar is an versatile additive to animal feed and bedding.
From cows, to ducks, to fish, biochar serves as a digestion aid, productivity enhancer, and general welfare improver.

The vast surface area (often greater than 400 sqm/gram!) allows for microbial colonisation, aiding digestion in the stomachs of animals.
This improved digestion translates directly to increased mass gain, improved feed conversion, and a decrease in mortality rate.
In turn, this improved animal welfare results in a productivity increase in most cases, increasing egg sizes, daily milk volumes, and meat protein content.
